Our Client is looking to recruit a General Manager to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. Candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years' experience and he/she will direct and manage the organization's business activities, develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.
Recruitment and selection policies and practices.
Carry out periodic performance appraisals.
Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development.
Compile and prepare monthly payroll for all staff.
Responsible for procurement and maintenance of company’s fleet.
Monitoring and overseeing all activities in the company from deliveries of products to sales performance.
Manage the profitability of the company.
Monitoring and correcting any incorrect sales models such as low sale turn out, poor records of products deliveries and dispatch of empties to the company.
Accessing all computerized data to be able to track the flow products.
Delegating work to supervisors, completing daily or weekly management meetings and informing supervisors of any issues or problems that have been noted.
Supervises and monitors all staff duties.
Ensure the capability upgrade of all staff.
Carry out weekly management meetings setting task that must be followed through by all depts.- HR, Sales, Account Warehouse etc.
Regular meetings with KBL/UDV.
Reviewing fleet requirements with KBL when need arises.
Bachelor in business management and administration Course
5 years experience in Management or a supervisory role.
Preferred age 27 to 35 years
